Deep beneath the Slopes of Oriziba, where the heat of the earth radiates and lava flows like rivers, there lies a smaller snake by the name of Pyralis. Unlike other snakes in the area, Pyralis spits lava and her venom is potent enough to turn prey into ash. She consumes ash as her main source of sustenance, making her perfectly adapted to her fiery environment.

Pyralis is a sneaky creature, moving through the shadows undetected as she stalks her prey. She is particularly skilled at mimicking voices that are familiar to people, often leading them into traps where she can strike without warning.

Many who have encountered Pyralis have never lived to tell the tale. Those who have survived often recount stories of a black and red viper with glowing eyes and the ability to control fire with a flick of her tongue. Pyralis may be small, but she is a force to be reckoned with in the fiery depths of South Zagreus.
